The Toronto Maple Leafs is a professional ice hockey team founded in the year of 1917. The team is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The team is playing their home games on Air Canada Centre since 1999. The team is quite famous due to their bitter long and rivalry with the Montreal Canadiens. The General Manager of the team is Brain Burke, the owners are Maple Leafs Sports & entertainment Ltd, and the team has no captain. The colors of the team are blue and white. The team fans base are known by the combined nickname “Leafs Nation”. The name was chosen in honour of the Maple Leaf Company from world war1.

The latest of the 2009-10 seasons is the franchise’s 92nd and 82nd as the Maple Leafs. They have not eligible for the postseason since 2003-04.  The 2009 NHL entry draft Maple leaf has chose centre Nazem Kadri for their first round pick. The team has very good players and their fans are excited to see their best team in the Finals in this season.
